Fix Our City Different, in partnership with Lake Research Partners, is excited to share the preliminary report analyzing 874 qualified survey responses received between April and May of this year.

  • Only 11% of respondents believe Santa Fe is on the right track
  • Residents of Santa Fe are overwhelmingly disappointed with the current mayor (75%) and city council (69%). 72% noted issues within the City’s Public Works Department (roads, parks, facilities). 61% found a similar fault with the City’s
  • Building Division (permitting, licensing, code enforcement).
  • Top issue: 54% of residents are experiencing trouble receiving the medical care needed due to a lack of providers and cost.
  • Top priorities for city hall: Water (90%), Healthcare (86%), Crime (81%), Homeless (80%), Roads (79%) & Housing (73%)
  • Nearly 30% of residents can’t afford housing and/or services or they do not qualify for current programs.
    40% of families have trouble accessing childcare services.

Santa Fe deserves a transparent and responsive city government focused on delivering results that matter to residents, not politicians and tourists.

Fix Our City Different encourages all Santa Feans to participate by taking the survey, submitting neighborhood issues and engaging on topics like housing, wastewater, community engagement & more! The survey will remain open until December 1, 2025.
